Level 2-3 Canine Good neighbour test

Service Description

***ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED INTERMEDIATE MANNERS LEVEL 2 PRIOR TO REGISTERING OR COMPARABLE TRAINING*** Duration: once per week for 6 weeks ( we do not meet on Statutory Holidays) In this course, we will build on basic behaviours and strengthen them by working through the 12 steps evaluated by the Canine Good Neighbour Test and an Introduction to Rally Obedience. Working towards these steps is a great way to build your relationship with your dog and train a canine companion that is admired by the community for good behaviour. All dogs can benefit from this class, as we work on essential life skills to make your dog a good neighbour. From walking towards another dog while remaining under control to holding a stay despite distractions, we will teach and help proof these behaviours to set you up to succeed on your CGN test if you choose to take it, or simply train a well-behaved dog you can take out into the community with pride. You will learn to advance your skill set or prepare for dog sports including competition obedience, rally obedience and more! All classes come with weekly homework to guide you through your home practice. Please note: The CGN Test is not part of this class and you do not have to take the test to take this class. For more information check about the test out the Canadian Kennel Club website at www.ckc.ca Cancellation policy: Full Refund up to 7 days before the start of class Between 7 days and 48 hours: full credit to apply to future classes or Private sessions Less than 48 hours notice: we will most likely not be able to fill your reserved class spot and a cancellation fee of $125 will apply. Once the class has started there is no refund or credit option available. If you are not sure if your dog is suitable for a group class, please ask before booking! We highly recommend a private lesson to assess suitability and answer any questions you may have as well as to bridge any gaps if you have missed a group session.
