Service Description

This class is specifically for dogs that are reactive, overexcited, overstimulated, rambunctious, barky or otherwise out of control. PREREQUISITE: YOUR DOG MUST COMPLETE AN INITIAL TRAINING CONSULTATION TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS CLASS, or have worked with our instructors in the last 6 months to get a go-ahead to join this class. Once you have completed your consultation and have the instructor's go-ahead, you can register for this class. Transforming your dog's behaviour is a journey that requires structured learning, support and an experienced trainer to help you set your dog on the right path. We use a variety of training protocols to: 1. Ensure the safety of each dog and handler (Small class sizes, proper training equipment for you and your dog to help you get started on the right foot) 2. Teach you emergency manoeuvres (in case you ever need them to get out of a sticky situation) 3. Set up management to prevent rehearsing poor choice behaviours (blocking visuals, teaching muzzle safety etc) 4. Train you and your dog to get what you want! 5. Work with trainers who specialize in reactive dogs in small group classes set up to provide each dog with a safe space and to help each individual dog get the attention they need to grow and succeed.
