BPF Founders Rudy and Robyn

Thank you for your interest in working with Best Paw Forward Dog Training. The first thing we ask is that interested applicants take our classes (the more the better) with their own dog(s). After doing so, aspiring trainers may be asked to join us as volunteers. This means that they volunteer their time with us, watching classes and helping out around the training center, for up to 6 months, before potentially being hired on as Assistant Trainers. Assistant Trainers are on hand to assist at classes - helping the trainer run class smoothly, answering any questions from students, etc. - and will do so for several more months, at which point, their capability to become a trainer and run classes and lessons themselves will be assessed.

If you are a current or previous client, and would like to talk more about joining the Best Paw Forward team, please send us an email with a current resume and cover letter that details your dog training history, experience, and goals.

Check out our resources page for ideas on where you can find more information and do some research on the training methods we use and support.
